Berima Amo

Berima Amo is a Ghanaian singer, trumpeter, composer and arranger. As a seven-year-old he was already playing on major stages, including with the John Teye Band. He was coached by Teddy Osei, founder and leader of the Osibisa band. From 2004 he studied jazz trumpet at the Rotterdam Conservatory. He toured Europe and Africa with his studio album “Journey Of The African Drum” and released three successful singles in 2019 with his Nkabom band. Berima Amo was nominated for “Best Music Producer” at the AGMMA Awards held annually in London. As part of Bijlmer Amsterdam's 40th anniversary celebrations, he was selected for a photo exhibition as one of the most influential musicians in Amsterdam.

Markt Centraal is only accessible by our train, De Markt Centraal Express. This departs from the gate of the Food Center Amsterdam at Jan van Galenstraat 6. The train runs between 7:00 PM and 3:00 AM.

The Central Market Hall is accessible with a wheelchair, there is also a MIVA toilet in the hall. Unfortunately, the train is not wheelchair accessible. If you come with a wheelchair, please let us know in advance. Then we will report you to the porter of the Food Center Amsterdam.

If canceled up to a week before the event, a refund of the amount paid is possible minus € 2 costs per person. In case of cancellation in the week before the event, a refund of the amount paid is unfortunately not possible.
