Holland Festival - Vegan Feijoada Workshop: A Taste of Brazil's Heart
Embark on a flavorful journey with Jungle Brazil where tradition meets sustainability in the Vegan Feijoada Workshop. Led by the visionary Brazilian-Amsterdam duo, Tahiba Melina Chaves and Elton Fiame, this workshop is not just a cooking class—it's an immersive experience into the soul of Brazilian cuisine, redefined with a plant-based ethos. This workshop will be conducted in a special mash up of English, Dutch and Portuguese languages.

Samba Roots
Samba Roots Amsterdam is back to spread the joy of the "Roda de Samba" through Markt Centraal.
In their unique arrangement they provide an unforgettable interaction between audience and band.
It doesn't matter where you come from, Samba Roots Amsterdam will make sure that their Samba touches you, makes you dance and sing along!
Berima Amo
Berima Amo is a Ghanaian singer, trumpeter, composer and arranger. As a seven-year-old he was already playing on major stages, including with the John Teye Band. He was coached by Teddy Osei, founder and leader of the Osibisa band. From 2004 he studied jazz trumpet at the Rotterdam Conservatory. He toured Europe and Africa with his studio album “Journey Of The African Drum” and released three successful singles in 2019 with his Nkabom band. Berima Amo was nominated for “Best Music Producer” at the AGMMA Awards held annually in London. As part of Bijlmer Amsterdam's 40th anniversary celebrations, he was selected for a photo exhibition as one of the most influential musicians in Amsterdam.
Markt Centraal is only accessible by our train, De Markt Centraal Express. This departs from the gate of the Food Center Amsterdam at Jan van Galenstraat 6. The train runs between 7:00 PM and 3:00 AM.
The Central Market Hall is accessible with a wheelchair, there is also a MIVA toilet in the hall. Unfortunately, the train is not wheelchair accessible. If you come with a wheelchair, please let us know in advance. Then we will report you to the porter of the Food Center Amsterdam.
If canceled up to a week before the event, a refund of the amount paid is possible minus € 2 costs per person. In case of cancellation in the week before the event, a refund of the amount paid is unfortunately not possible.

Get ready for a taste of Brazil as Jungle Brazil Catering and La Chica food team up to bring you the A Taste of Brazil: Feijoada Edition on Sunday, 19th of March at the Kitchen Republic in Amsterdam from 14.00-17.00. These are Carnaval times and Jungle Brazil’s vibes will take over the Markt Kabaal with a Brazilian party that you have never seen in Amsterdam.
Good music, good vibes, tropical cocktails and brazilian snacks by Jungle Brazil.
It will be a farofa of Samba, Forró, Coco, Brazilian Funk and Latin rhythms mixed with techno and house.
